神経グループは田中肇講師、高橋悟助教、荒木章子講師、大日向純子医員、鈴木菜生医員、の5名で構成されております。診療面ではてんかん、脳性麻痺、変性疾患、筋疾患などの診療に加え、平成19年6月より「子どもの発達診療センター」が開設され、荒木講師、大日向医員に菅野絵里子心理士を加えた三名が中心となって自閉症,ADHD、学習障害などの発達障害や、不登校などの心身症診療にあたっております。また当グループは関連病院や児童相談所などの神経専門外来や相談業務も数多く抱え、地域と連携した診療を目指し努力しております。研究面では、高橋助教が中心となり脳形成異常の病態解明など分子生物学的手法を用いた研究を活発に行っている一方、事象関連電位や光トポグラフィーを用いた発達障害児の高次機能評価、障害児や慢性疲労症候群児の睡眠リズム,生体リズム解析などを中心とした臨床研究にも精力的に取り組んでおります。
