感染・免疫グループ

私達のグループは以下の幅広い領域の疾患を持つ患者さんの診療にあたっています。

  • 感染症 (細菌性,ウイルス性/肺炎,胃腸炎,髄膜炎,尿路感染症など)
  • アレルギー疾患 (気管支喘息,アトピー性皮膚炎,食物アレルギーなど)
  • リウマチ性疾患 (若年性特発性関節炎,小児皮膚筋炎,全身性ループスエリテマトーデスなど)
  • 炎症性腸疾患 (潰瘍性大腸炎,クローン病)
  • その他消化器疾患 (肝炎,膵炎など)
  • 自己炎症性疾患 (周期性発熱など)

一見してわかる様に,その多くが炎症を起こす疾患です。そこで私達は東 寛教授の指導を受けながら免疫学的な病態を解析するための研究的なアプローチにも力を入れています。

また,ワクチンで防げる病気(vaccine preventable diseases; VPD)をきちんと防げるように働きかけるのも私達の大切な仕事です。外来では予防接種外来を担当し,各地方自治体から依頼をうけ,予防接種の相談を受けたり,健康被害者が出た際には救済制度の橋渡しも行なっています。
